After the application deadline the jury will select ten favourites from all of the online applications. This top ten will be asked to submit their applications in portfolio form to the Ramazzotti Runway Award team. The jury will then select the six best collections from the ten submitted. After this decision, the six finalists will be asked to submit their award collections. The award jury will then meet once again to view the models and decide on a winner. Their decision is final and incontestable. Once the jury has reached its decision, the six finalists will be given the opportunity to show samples of their collections at the Ramazzotti Runway Award Show. Six complete collection outfits will be presented. Model sizes to be tailored for: women 34–36, men 46–48. The designer must provide six uniform pairs of shoes to go with the collection. Women: size 39/40. Men: size 42/43.

The Ramazzotti Runway Award offers its six finalists a great opportunity to present their own collections at a professional fashion show during Berlin Fashion Week in July 2011. Ramazzotti will provide the perfect setting and take care of the PR, styling, location, music, equipment, models, guest management, etc. Once the award has been presented, Ramazzotti will remain committed to supporting the winner and finalists in the long term. This will include helping them to take part in sales events and trade fairs, as well as giving them opportunities to present collections in the temporary Ramazzotti Runway Award SHOWROOM during Berlin Fashion Week in January.

Prize:

The winner will receive a cash prize of €2,000 as well as other promotional assistance after the award, such as an opportunity to open the next year’s Ramazzotti Runway Award with their new collection.
